It is a 45-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport. Angsana Velavaru is a family friendly resort, and has an indoor and outdoor kids’ club, which offers a wide variety of activities including babysitting services.
To capture the best of both worlds, Angsana Velavaru is half on the crystal clear waters of the Maldivian ocean and half on the white sandy beaches of the South Nilandhe Atoll.
Some beach villas are equipped with private garden terraces featuring swimming pools. All beach villas are equipped with modern amenities such as outdoor rain shower, TV, coffee, tea making facilities, electric kettle, bedroom and outdoor slippers and bathrobes. All In-Ocean villas are built apart from the island by the house reefs. Each In-ocean is spacious and each has an infinity pool. All villas have direct access to the beach and the ocean. These transfers will be facilitated via seaplane flights through a third-party company. This service is available for flights landing between 06:00 and 15:30. The seaplane journey typically takes around 45 minutes, followed by a 5-minute speedboat ride to reach the resort's main island or InOcean Villas.
While the resort assists in booking seaplane transfers, please note that the resort does not have control over scheduling and departure timings, which can be subject to changes due to weather conditions.
