Angsana Velavaru offers 3 restaurants and private, luxury beachfront and water villas with private pools on Velavaru Island (Turtle Island). It is a 45-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport. Angsana Velavaru is a family friendly resort, and has an indoor and outdoor kids’ club, which offers a wide variety of activities including babysitting services.
To capture the best of both worlds, Angsana Velavaru is half on the crystal clear waters of the Maldivian ocean and half on the white sandy beaches of the South Nilandhe Atoll.
Some beach villas are equipped with private garden terraces featuring swimming pools. All beach villas are equipped with modern amenities such as outdoor rain shower, TV, coffee, tea making facilities, electric kettle, bedroom and outdoor slippers and bathrobes. All In-Ocean villas are built apart from the island by the house reefs. Each In-ocean is spacious and each has an infinity pool. All villas have direct access to the beach and the ocean. Wi-fi is available throughout the island.
Angsana's chefs serve a wide variety of local and international cuisines. Maldivian cuisine, fresh seafood and international dishes are served at the resorts three restaurants. It’s iconic Funa restaurant, serves a fresh lobster dinner. For additional dining guests are able to book a destination dining experience, an in-villa dining experience, or a floating breakfast.
Guests can relax with Angsana’s award-winning spa treatments, request for dolphin-watching trips, whale shark excursions or fishing in a traditional Maldivian Dhoni. Dive activities can be arranged at Angsana Velavaru's 5 Star Padi Dive Center on request. The resort has its own marine laboratory.

For additional passengers (adults or children), standard transfer charges will apply as detailed below. Return transfer fees are as follows:
Children under 2 years: Free of charge
Children (2-11 years old): USD 335
Adults: USD 530
Each guest is allowed a baggage allowance of 20kg + 5kg (hand luggage). Please note that the seaplane company may impose a surcharge for excess luggage.
These transfers will be facilitated via seaplane flights through a third-party company. This service is available for flights landing between 06:00 Hrs and 15:30 Hrs. The seaplane journey typically takes around 45 minutes, followed by a 5-minute speedboat ride to reach the resort's main island or InOcean Villas.
While the resort assists in booking seaplane transfers, please note that the resort does not have control over scheduling and departure timings, which can be subject to changes due to weather conditions.
General policies:
Mandatory green tax of USD 6 per child per night will be charged apart from extra child charges applicable for each night.
